Why Buy From Seattle Boxes?
We are not just a box vendor. We are a packaging partner that helps businesses reduce costs, lower environmental impact, and ship with confidence. Here is what sets us apart.
Largest Regional Inventory
Over 500,000 boxes in stock across our Seattle-area warehouses. Standard sizes ship same-day. No waiting weeks for a production run — your boxes are ready now.
40-60% Savings on Used
Our used corrugated boxes cost a fraction of new. A 24x24x24 double-wall box that lists at $4.50 new costs $1.80-$2.70 from our used inventory — identical performance, dramatically lower price.
Hand-Inspected Quality
Every used box is individually inspected by trained staff. We check structural integrity, cleanliness, flute condition, flap alignment, and dimensional accuracy. If it does not pass, it gets recycled — never sold.
Expert Packaging Advice
Our team includes packaging engineers with 20+ years of combined experience. We help you select the right box size, wall type, ECT rating, and interior packaging to protect your product at the lowest cost.
Same-Day Local Delivery
Orders placed before 11 AM for in-stock items deliver same day to Seattle, Tacoma, Bellevue, Redmond, Everett, and the greater Puget Sound region. Next-day delivery available Pacific Northwest-wide.
Sustainability First
Every used box we sell prevents a perfectly good container from reaching a landfill. In 2025, we diverted over 2.8 million boxes from waste streams — saving an estimated 4,700 tons of CO2 emissions.

Our Quality Guarantee
Every box that leaves our warehouse has been hand-inspected and graded. We stand behind the condition rating on every order — if it doesn’t meet spec, we replace it free of charge.
Hand-Inspected
Our team checks every box for structural integrity, cleanliness, and correct sizing before it enters inventory. Boxes with contamination, heavy water damage, or compromised fluting are recycled — never sold.
Graded & Sorted
We use a clear A / B / C grading system so you know exactly what you are getting. Grade A boxes are virtually indistinguishable from new. Grade B shows minor cosmetic marks. Grade C is functional with visible wear.

Packaging That Protects the Planet
Choosing used corrugated packaging is one of the simplest, highest-impact sustainability decisions a business can make. Here is why.
saved for every ton of cardboard diverted from landfill and reused instead of manufactured from virgin fiber.
is required to reuse an existing box compared to recycling it back into pulp and manufacturing a new box from that pulp.
per shipment when using a reused box versus a new one, accounting for manufacturing, transport, and end-of-life processing.
end up in U.S. landfills each year despite being perfectly reusable. Seattle Boxes exists to change that — one pallet at a time.
Our 2025 Sustainability Impact
Every used box we sell is a box that does not reach a landfill. Here is the measurable impact our customers collectively achieved last year.
from landfills and back into productive use across the Pacific Northwest
equivalent to removing 1,020 passenger vehicles from the road for an entire year
by avoiding the pulping and paper-making process required to manufacture new boxes
that would have been harvested for virgin fiber to produce equivalent new corrugated board

Frequently Asked Questions
Are used boxes really as strong as new ones?
Yes, for most applications. Corrugated board retains 90-95% of its original strength after a single use cycle. Our Grade A used boxes have been used only once and show virtually no structural degradation. Grade B and C boxes are appropriate for lighter loads and non-critical applications where full original strength is not required.
What is the minimum order quantity?
There is no minimum for used boxes — you can buy as few as 10 units. New standard boxes have a minimum of 25 units. Custom-manufactured new boxes start at 100-500 units depending on complexity. Gaylords can be purchased individually.
Do you deliver, or is it pickup only?
We offer both. Local delivery is available same-day for orders placed before 11 AM to the greater Seattle/Puget Sound area. We also ship nationwide via LTL freight and parcel carriers. Pickup is always free from our warehouse locations.
Can I return unused boxes?
Yes. Unused boxes in their original condition can be returned within 30 days for a full refund. We also operate a buyback program — if you have used boxes you no longer need, we will purchase them from you, inspect them, and add them back to our inventory.
Do you offer recurring delivery schedules?
Absolutely. Many of our business customers set up weekly or monthly standing orders. Recurring orders receive an additional 5-10% discount and guaranteed inventory allocation, so you never run short during peak seasons.
Are your used boxes clean and safe for food-adjacent use?
Our used boxes are inspected for contamination, odors, and stains. They are suitable for secondary food packaging (shipping cases around already-packaged food). For direct food contact, FDA regulations require new, virgin corrugated board — we supply those as well.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards, ACH/wire transfers, company checks, and purchase orders. NET-30 payment terms are available for qualified business accounts with approved credit applications.
How do I know which box size and grade to choose?
Tell us what you are packing, how much it weighs, and where it is going. Our packaging specialists will recommend the optimal size, wall type, ECT rating, and condition grade for your application. This consultation is always free.
